Last sunday in a forest I wanted to try something different: using my flash. My antique 550EX had been sitting on a shelf since 2008, inspired by Coyhand I wanted to try and see what a flash could do in a forest. My objective was to create a lighting situation that was obviously not natural, but without it screaming “flash”. Viewing the results I think it can do with even more subtlety.
