A conceptual series which I thought up and started to shoot. But now the results disappoint me. Or maybe the ‘Soda scan lid’ has some merit.

Portrait shoot with the 135 mm f/4 leaf shutter
October 22, 2014Portrait photograph of a CEO shot with the glorious Pentax 135 mm f/4 leaf shutter lens at f/4, on my 645D, to get delicious sharpness.
Memmingen (south Germany)
September 30, 2014Went to Memmingen in the south of Germany with a friend. Weather was cloudy. Took some nice snapshots though.
Walking along the beach of Ameland
July 31, 2014Not a very exciting blog post, with a photograph of a jellyfish. But I like the colours of the featured image, the opposing green and blue hues. Especially viewed large.
Some fashion photos
July 14, 2014Fashion photography intrigues me to no end. I try to participate, but it’s not so easy. These are nice enough attempts, do you know what is missing?
Double exposures
June 20, 2014Roundup post of double exposures that I shot with the old Zeiss Ikon Nettar on 6×9 film. How have double exposures inspired you?
Photowalk
April 19, 2014Photographs with my new Pentax 645D while hiking around the country. Wait, are those aliens in the background?
SMC Pentax 645 LS 1:4 135mm
April 16, 2014A review of the excellent SMC Pentax 645 LS 1:4 135mm. Does it work fully on my 645D? And why did I want it again? + example photographs.
Semi-finished product
March 15, 2014Photographs that lack a certain something. I have plenty of those. Musing what to do about it. Do you have any idea?
645D: ISO 100 vs ISO 200
March 8, 2014The Pentax 645D has a native ISO of 200, but it can be used at 100. But is it really 100? And has it less noise? Don’t believe it until you see it.
My new camera
March 5, 2014The first photographs with my Pentax 645D after years of using Canon. Custom settings and learnings. And yes, I read the manual.
